Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Lead Platform / DevOps Engineer (SRE) with 17+ years of experience designing, securing, and operating highly resilient cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and enterprise middleware, driving automation, reliability, observability, and large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, build, and operation of secure, scalable, highly available platforms across AWS and Azure
• Own Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, OpenShift), including upgrades, networking, security, and stateful workloads
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, incident management, and RCA
• Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Lead DevSecOps and CI/CD strategy using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, and YAML pipelines
• Implement enterprise-grade observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Azure Monitor
• Ensure security and compliance: TLS/SSL, certificate rotation, IAM, KMS, BYOK, encryption at rest/in transit
• Mentor platform and DevOps engineers; define engineering standards and best practices
• Partner with application, security, and business teams to deliver mission-critical systems

Required Skills & Experience:

• 17+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS & Azure (EKS, AKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, APIM)
• Strong Kubernetes ecosystem knowledge: Docker, Helm, StatefulSets, OpenShift
• Proven experience with middleware platforms (IBM MQ, WebSphere, MuleSoft, Kafka)
• Strong Linux administration experience (Red Hat, AIX, Solaris)
• Expertise in monitoring, logging, and incident response for large-scale environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• ITIL Foundation / IBM WebSphere Certification

Nice to Have:

• Experience in banking, telecom, or regulated enterprise environments
• Python or scripting for automation and platform tooling
• Experience leading on‑prem to cloud migration programs
