Back End Developer

Main responsibilities:

• The Supplier shall provide the Client with consulting services related to Technical Consultant activities. In particular:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile application components in alignment with project requirements and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and business analysts to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
• Support implementation and testing activities, ensuring the delivery of reliable and performant code.
• Execute configuration and parameterization tasks based on functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration and UAT phases by promptly addressing defects and feedback.
• Provide technical support, analysis, and troubleshooting across the development lifecycle.
• Report progress, blockers, and risks to the designated Avaloq stream leads and escalate issues to the Avaloq Manager as required.
• Prioritize and manage workload in alignment with the direction and priorities defined by the Avaloq Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / master’s degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience working as mobile application developer (Android/iOS).
• Clear understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Know-how of the Kotlin Multiplatform language.
• Know-how mobile application submission process (Apple Store / Play Store).
• Passionate about good software development practices, design patterns and principles of OOP.
• Experience working with Android/iOS concepts and standards related to user interface, data storage, encryption, security, and performance.
• Experience working with a mobile stack - Including Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, MVVM and Compose.
• Experience integrating third party libraries, SDKs and REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading other software developers.
• Experience in Agile processes.
• Analytical, solution driven, keen to details, ability to work with a team, and above all has the passion to drive change.
• Quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Open-minded, good team player, and has good communication skills (proficient in English verbally and in writing).
