Cloud Engineer

AROBS is hiring a Senior AWS Platform Automation Engineer!

In this role, you’ll design, build, harden and document the core platform runtime components required to automatically provision and operate secure, tenant-isolated SaaS environments on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and operate Amazon MSK (Kafka) per tenant: topic naming, IAM/IRSA authentication, schema registry integration, lag monitoring, DLQ strategy
• Deliver Amazon MQ (ActiveMQ): Terraform modules, HA configuration, secure connectivity via Istio, monitoring and migration runbooks
• Enforce Kubernetes tenant isolation and pod security using Kyverno policies
• Own Terraform-based automation for repeatable tenant platform deployments
• Produce operational documentation and runbooks for SRE and platform teams

Required skills

• Strong AWS platform experience (EKS, MSK, Amazon MQ, IAM, VPC)
• Terraform module authoring and IaC best practices
• Kubernetes security and networking fundamentals (Kyverno, Istio basics)
• Experience operating managed messaging systems in production
