📌 About the role

We are looking for a Mid Data Scientist to join our project, working on cutting-edge AI and data-driven initiatives.

In this role, you will work with structured, unstructured, and streaming data to build advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing and modern AI approaches such as RAG architectures and embeddings.

You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, developing predictive models, and collaborating closely with product and business teams to productionise solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you will combine data science, AI, and business understanding to deliver real impact across the organization.

💻 What you’ll do

🔹 Design and develop NLP solutions, including text classification, tokenization, and embedding models

🔹 Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to enhance LLM capabilities

🔹 Develop predictive models (regression, classification, neural networks, decision trees)

🔹 Collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, web scraping, surveys)

🔹 Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies

🔹 Apply statistical methods (A/B testing, multivariate analysis) to validate hypotheses

🔹 Evaluate, fine-tune, and monitor machine learning models in production environments

🔹 Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python

🔹 Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

🔹 Collaborate with product and engineering teams to productionise models and solutions

🔹 Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance (e.g. GDPR)

💡 Must Have

🔹 2–4 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning

🔹 Strong experience with Python (Pandas, PyTorch or similar libraries)

🔹 Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering)

🔹 Hands-on experience in NLP (text processing, embeddings, classification)

🔹 Exposure to RAG architectures and LLM-related workflows

🔹 Experience with statistical analysis (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis)

🔹 Experience working with SQL and large datasets

🔹 Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

🔹 Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries)

🔹 Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

🔹 Ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders

🔹 Fluent Spanish & English (C1)

🔹 Experience with streaming data or real-time analytics

🔹 Knowledge of Spark or distributed data processing

🔹 Experience deploying ML models into production environments

🔹 Familiarity with data governance and privacy frameworks (GDPR)

🔹 Experience working in product-driven or digital environments

🔹 Exposure to recommendation systems or optimization problems

🔹 Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
