About the Role

We are looking for a Golang Software Engineer to join our team building a global Loyalty & Benefits platform. This platform powers customer experiences at scale using modern microservices architecture.

You’ll work in a collaborative Scrum team, contributing to the Account domain, building scalable services, and helping shape a high-performance distributed system.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang (or similar)
• Build and enhance microservices within a distributed architecture
• Develop REST APIs and integrate asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders in Agile (Scrum) teams
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong testing practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing across teams

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong programming skills (Golang preferred; Java, Python, or similar acceptable)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
• REST APIs
• Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Good to Have

• Experience with Golang in production environments
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Experience with Postgres or other relational databases
• Exposure to gRPC or GraphQL
• Understanding of TDD / BDD practices
