GenAI Developer (Helsinki or other)

We’re looking for a GenAI Developer for our Elisa Data & Analytics team.

Your main projects would be designing and implementing various GenAI use cases related to Elisa’s Corporate Customer business. This requires skills in networking and communication with key stakeholders, and solid technical hands-on experience with GenAI and prompting, data pipelines and cloud environments.

Your future team members are working around Finland, team´s home base is at Helsinki, Pasila. This position can be located at any Elisa office in Finland, if you are occasionally willing to travel to our HQ in Pasila. At this team we are following Elisa´s hybrid working policies.

What We Expect From You

• Several years of experience working as a Python Developer, ML Engineer or in similar kind of roles, over five years of work experience in complex analytics and/or data engineering tasks.
• Previous experience and expertise in Generative AI and large language models (LLMs) solution development
• Solid proficiency in programming (eg. Python & libraries NumPy, Pandas) related to data and AI software development
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, model evaluation metrics, and human-AI collaboration
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Great SQL skills and basic understanding of data warehousing and lakehouses (e.g. BigQuery)
• Familiarity with MLOps and DevOps practises, including CI/CD pipelines for machine learning (e.g. Kubeflow Pipelines)
• A desire to take responsibility for the progress of projects and to get things done
• A self-driven transparent and agile mindset and the ability to inspire others through your own actions and attitude
• The ability for independent planning and decision-making
• Good interactive skills and fluent proficiency in English
