Our client, a leading banking and financial services organisation, are currently hiring for a Cybersecurity Operations Manager responsible for developing and driving the Vulnerability Management and Security Operations Capabilities in accordance with the defined Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance strategy and roadmap supporting the implementation of the Cybersecurity Framework within the Digital organization.
You will be a part of the Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance department with the mission to support the Bank and the Digital organization in creating and managing secure & compliant products according to regulatory requirements and the risk appetite of the Bank providing value, trust and long-term relationships with stakeholders and our customers.
You will drive Vulnerability Management initiatives, taking a proactive approach to identify and address potential weak spots within the Bank's system landscape. This involves a thorough investigation into security controls, assessing their implementation effectiveness, and staying up to date of emerging attack surfaces to safeguard the Bank's assets effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading the development, implementation, and management of vulnerability management strategies, along with the ability to oversee and enhance processes for identifying, evaluating, and reporting on vulnerabilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the continuously evolving cybersecurity threat landscape, with the ability to drive improvements in security technologies and procedures to mitigate threats effectively.
- Solid experience conducting regular quality assurance to ensure compliance with cybersecurity control frameworks, standards, and regulations, as well as leading risk and security assessments.
- Ability to work closely with various teams like Information Security, Risk Control, and business units, while effectively communicating cybersecurity strategies, risks, and requirements to stakeholders at all levels (strategic, tactical, operational).
- Practical experience managing security in hybrid environments (on-premise, private & public cloud, XaaS models) and working with external vendors to align services with the organization’s cybersecurity standards.
This is a 12-month contract position which is likely to be extended to 2 years, although cannot be guaranteed.
