Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Nuage has partnered with a well-known Australian enterprise, with two senior opportunities available for proven Senior AI Engineers who have delivered enterprise-grade implementations.

These are hands-on roles for engineers with strong software development backgrounds who have moved into AI through building, scaling, and owning production platforms.

One position sits within an internal platform / DevOps function, focused on building enterprise GenAI capability across shared environments. The other sits within a highly technical internal SWAT team delivering end-to-end AI solutions across multiple business areas, with strong design and build ownership. Both teams are heavily invested in modern AWS AI tooling and are looking for engineers who can operate across platform, infrastructure, and applied AI delivery.

Projects include ML platform builds, GenAI implementation, internal AI tooling, and large-scale event-driven systems. These businesses have already invested heavily in AI and continue to expand aggressively.

Experience required:

• Proven enterprise AWS AI implementation experience
• Strong software engineering background (Python essential, Java or .Net highly regarded)
• Experience building production ML / AI platforms
• DevOps / platform engineering exposure - comfortable owning infrastructure
• MLOps knowledge in enterprise environments
• Experience working with GenAI tooling and LLM-based systems
