Research Scientist Intern, Generative AI - 2025

NVIDIA is searching for a world-class researcher in generative AI to join our research team. You will be conducting original research for generative AI applications, including the generation of language, images, videos, 3D, and audio. You will be working with a team of world-class researchers eager to make great impacts with generative AI models. You will be building research prototypes and scaling them with large datasets and compute. You will summarize your research findings in high-quality scientific publications.

Preferred internship duration: 6 months

What You'll Be Doing

  • Participate in and assume leadership in projects relating to generative modeling
  • Large-scale training of deep learning models and tracking of results
  • Identify or collect relevant datasets in the space of generative AI
  • Identify and implement techniques that allow evaluation and visualization of results
  • Support the permanent research team

What We Need To See

  • Ph.D. student in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least one article published in a top venue (e.g., CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, Siggraph)
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent python/C++/Cuda programming skills
  • Knowledgeable with pyTorch
  • Experience in processing or curating large-scale datasets
  • Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or computer graphics
