Join KuCoin EU and help build a robust, future-ready AML/CTF framework at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto.

As Deputy AMLO, you’ll work closely with our AMLO to operate, enhance, and scale our compliance program in line with MiFID II, MiCAR, AMLD5, and Austrian regulatory requirements. You’ll take ownership of investigations and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), support Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), strengthen KYC and transaction monitoring processes, and contribute to continuous improvements across our AML controls.

This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll also act as deputy to the AMLO when needed and regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external regulators such as the Austrian Financial Market Authority.

What makes You special

• 6+ years AML/CTF experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto
• Strong hands-on knowledge of KYC/EDD, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening
• Experience with AMLD5 / MiFID II (MiCAR a big plus)
• Interest in blockchain and crypto compliance
• ACAMS / ICA certification preferred
• High integrity, strong communication skills, and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Vienna-based (legal full-time residency required)
