Ready to take your Java expertise to the next level? We’re looking for a hands-on Analyst Developer to drive impactful upgrades and work on business-critical applications.

🎯 Your mission

You’ll play a key role in upgrading multiple applications to Java 17–21 within a dynamic IT environment (Employee Benefits & Life domain).

⚙️ What you’ll do

• Upgrade and modernize Java applications (Java 8 → 17/21)

• Translate functional analyses into solid technical designs 🧩

• Develop, test, and optimize applications (integration, regression, performance)

• Support and guide acceptance testing with business users

• Ensure smooth implementation and follow-up of new features

• Collaborate closely within an Agile team 🤝

🧠 Your profile

• Dutch-speaking with good English

• Available full-time for a 6-month assignment

• Willing to work 2 days/week on-site in Antwerp

• Strong analytical mindset & able to work independently

💡 Must-have skills

• Experience in technical analysis (UML is a plus)

• Solid background in Java/J2EE (8, 11, 17–21)

• Spring MVC & Spring Webflow

• OOP development of transactional web apps

• Tech stack: Eclipse (STS), JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, HTML/CSS, SQL/ORM

• Docker & Hibernate

• Unit testing with JUnit + knowledge of testing methodologies

• Liferay / Portal tech

• Alfresco (CMS)

• Selenium (automated testing)

• Mulesoft (Anypoint, Mule 4, RAML, DataWeave)

• Jira, Sonar, Enterprise Architect

• Experience in the insurance sector
