IT Functional analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and gather functional requirements to identify effective IT solutions
• Propose alternative solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards, and cost-benefit objectives
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, and stakeholders to design detailed functional solutions
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams
• Define application impacts and align responsibilities across different systems and technical teams
• Monitor development, testing, and deployment to ensure alignment with functional specifications
• Support defect analysis, issue resolution, and incident management during testing and post-production
• Coordinate with release, deployment, and operational support teams
• Maintain functional and technical documentation
• Work effectively in Agile sprint-based environments and contribute to cross-functional team success
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of IT systems
• Knowledge of banking and financial domain processes
• Experience with business and functional analysis methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum frameworks
• Experience with mobile applications (iOS / Android) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized
• Adaptable and quick learner
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Good command of English, plus Dutch or French is preferred
