As a (Senior) Project Manager in the Public Sector, you will contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives that have a real impact on society. In this role, you will work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of strategic projects, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and shared ownership of results.
- Apply your knowledge of strategy and architecture to align project outcomes with clients’ broader digital transformation goals.
- Act as a trusted and approachable advisor, translating complex topics into clear recommendations on systems, processes, and governance.
- Develop and maintain structured yet flexible project plans, balancing priorities while keeping long‑term objectives and stakeholder needs in focus.
- Thoughtfully integrate advanced technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Build strong relationships by connecting technical experts, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sector‑specific guidelines.
Skills & qualifications
- A Master’s degree in economics, informatics, engineering, or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, with solid knowledge of methodologies and tools such as PRINCE2, PMI, PMBOK, or similar, ideally within a public sector context.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Experience in consulting (considered an asset).
- Certifications such as Scrum Master, Agile Project Management, COBIT, ITIL, or TOGAF (considered assets).
- A strong understanding of digital strategy and transformation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, change management, and storytelling skills.
- A mindset oriented toward innovation, agility, and entrepreneurship.
- Confidence in navigating AI‑related topics, communicating complex concepts clearly, making ethically sound decisions, and adapting to emerging technologies.
- Flexibility, resilience, and motivation to work across diverse projects.
- Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
