Role : Network Consultant

Location : Ghent, Belgium (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network appliances.

Provide L2/L3 field support for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.

Execute network rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.

Perform structured cabling checks, rack & stack, patching, and labeling as per standards.

Understanding of Cisco routing and SwitchingTCPIP fundamentals VLSMCIDR, QoS, IP Subnetting.Cabling copper fiber

Diagnose and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, ACLs, and firewalls.

Troubleshoot connectivity issues in MPLS, Internet Leased Line (ILL), broadband, and VPN setups.

Handle incidents within defined SLA/TAT, escalate to L3/vendor when required, and provide root cause analysis.

Perform hardware replacement (RMA), device recovery, and failover testing on-site.

Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs
