🔧 Your mission

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and security of a highly complex enterprise network environment.

You will collaborate closely with network engineers, architects, and external partners to ensure stability, performance, and security across the infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities include:

• 🔍 Analyzing and resolving complex network incidents
• 🚀 Designing and implementing new technologies and improvements
• 🤝 Working closely with IT Operations and architecture teams
• 📊 Managing incidents and changes via ServiceNow (SNOW)
• 🔄 Contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives

• 🔥 Cisco ACI & APIC
• 🔐 Fortinet firewalls & Meraki MX
• 📶 Meraki WiFi solutions
• ☁️ VMware NSX-T
• ⚖️ Network Load Balancers (Citrix Netscaler, AVI, …)

🧠 Your profile

We are looking for a strong technical expert with an operational and problem-solving mindset:

• 💼 Minimum 10 years of experience in Cisco network administration
• 🌐 Strong expertise in enterprise datacenter networking (North/South & East/West)
• 🔐 Solid experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Meraki MX)
• 🤖 Hands-on automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.)
• 🧩 Good knowledge of Software Defined Networking (ACI, NSX-T)
• 🐧 Solid Linux knowledge
• 📡 Familiarity with IoT environments
• 🛠️ Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Cacti, Instana

🎯 Must-have experience

• 8–10+ years in large-scale enterprise network environments
• Strong hands-on Cisco datacenter networking background
• Proven firewall and network segmentation experience
• Basic scripting/automation capabilities
• Fluent in Dutch or French + professional English
