Given the nature of our work and global collaboration, some flexibility in working hours is expected, including availability outside of standard 9–5 hours.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean and maintainable code using best practices and the latest front-end and back-end technologies
- Leading the design and implementation of software features from scratch
- Coordinating tool and library selection, development environment improvements, and process refinements
- Applying software development and testing best practices
- Supporting internal stakeholders with troubleshooting efforts as needed
- 4+ years of experience building full-stack applications with a React-based frontend with excellent UX, and an object-oriented backend using JavaScript/TypeScript or Java/Kotlin
- Experience with relational databases (especially PostgreSQL), and hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization principles
- Passion for solving challenging problems and iterating quickly
- Experience with AWS, NoSQL databases, graph DBs, RabbitMQ
- Experience with NestJS, AWS Lambda
- Experience with Java/Kotlin microservice applications
