Shepherd CMMS is a 100% Native NetSuite (Oracle) solution for Maintenance Management and was proudly named Oracle Suite Cloud Developer Partner of the Year in 2021. We manage maintenance within a wide range of industries, including many of the world's largest water utilities, mining operations, power plants, boiler, and printing operations using our software. We are a global company but are now looking to expand our team in Tallinn and hire a Software Developer. The role will be reporting to the Head of Development.

About the Role

As a Software Developer at Shepherd CMMS you will specialise in building high quality hybrid mobile applications, progressive web applications and custom integrations to provide efficient solutions to our customers. Working with a global team of developers and testers who care about quality code over quick fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts system analyses to identify weaknesses

Designs and develops software to fit user needs

Generates reports on the development process and application performance 

Gets a grasp of our product quickly.

Instructs teams in the direction of software development

Mentors software engineers by advising and coaching

Updates software with the latest techniques

Required Qualification/Skills:

Angular 2+, will consider other JavaScript frameworks

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines.

DevOps, CI/CD

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with Ionic Framework and hybrid mobile applications

Must have excellent written and verbal English skills

Proven experience in testing and automating REST APIs.

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Strong understanding of the standard software development lifecycle (SDLC). 

Version control

Unit Testing

Understanding of NetSuite and SuiteScript (1 and/or 2)

Well versed in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS

Estonian C2 or Russian C2
