Crypto Market Analyst

Zero2Launch is a blockchain startup launchpad. We help early-stage Web3 projects go from idea to live token — providing the strategy, infrastructure, and capital partners they need to launch successfully. Our treasury operates across crypto and traditional markets, and the quality of our market reading directly shapes how we manage it.

We are looking for a Crypto Market Analyst to give our treasury function a sharper view of the markets we operate in. You'll watch the tape so the rest of us don't have to — tracking flows, structure, liquidity, and macro signals across crypto and adjacent markets, and turning what you see into clear, actionable reads for the Head of Finance & Digital Assets.

This is not a research-for-research's-sake role. Every report you write should help someone make a better treasury decision: when to rotate, when to sit, what to hedge, what to ignore.

• Monitor crypto markets continuously: spot, perpetuals, options, on-chain liquidity, stablecoin flows, and key sector rotations.
• Track relevant traditional markets — rates, DXY, equities, gold — and how they're affecting crypto on the day.
• Produce daily and weekly market briefs for leadership: what moved, why, and what it means for our positioning.
• Build deeper reports on specific themes when they matter: liquidity events, regulatory shifts, major unlocks, exchange flows, derivatives positioning.
• Maintain dashboards and data pipelines that turn raw market and on-chain data into something actually readable.
• Track our treasury's market exposure and flag risks the Head of Finance should be aware of.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance & Digital Assets on allocation and hedging decisions, providing the market context behind every move.
• Stay plugged into what serious traders, desks, and analysts are saying — and filter signal from noise before it reaches leadership.

Must have

• 2–4 years of professional experience in crypto markets analysis, trading, market research, or a quantitative role at a fund, exchange, market maker, or trading desk.
• Strong understanding of crypto market structure: order books, derivatives, funding rates, basis, liquidations, and how on-chain activity feeds into price.
• Working knowledge of traditional macro — rates, FX, equities — and how they interact with crypto.
• Comfort with data: you can pull, clean, and analyze market and on-chain data without waiting for someone else to prepare it.
• Excellent written English. Your briefs need to be readable in two minutes and useful for the rest of the day.
• Based in Germany with the right to work there.

Nice to have

• Strong Python or SQL skills for market and on-chain data analysis.
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics platforms (Glassnode, Dune, Nansen, Artemis, Velo, Coinalyze).
• Background at a crypto fund, prop desk, market maker, exchange research team, or quant shop.
• Track record of public market commentary, research notes, or substacks that people actually read.
• Experience working alongside a treasury or portfolio management function.

• Base salary: €80,000 – €100,000 gross per year, approximately 20% above industry benchmarks for this level. No variable compensation; we believe in paying well and predictably.
• Fully remote role, based in Germany, with flexibility on working hours (some overlap with European business hours required).
