Zero2Launch is a blockchain startup launchpad. We help early-stage Web3 projects go from idea to live token — providing the strategy, infrastructure, and capital partners they need to launch successfully. As our launchpad scales, stablecoins have become the rails that carry almost everything we do: funding rounds, treasury flows, operational payments, and cross-border settlements.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Stablecoin Systems Operator to own the day-to-day operations of our stablecoin infrastructure. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for someone who genuinely understands how stablecoins work under the hood — on-chain, off-chain, and everywhere in between.
You will be the person who makes sure every flow settles correctly, every reserve reconciles, and every movement is auditable. When something breaks — a stuck transaction, a chain congestion event, a banking partner delay — you're the one who solves it.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the full lifecycle of our stablecoin flows: mint, burn, redemption, bridging, and conversion between fiat and on-chain assets.
- Monitor on-chain activity across relevant networks (Ethereum, major L2s, Solana, and others as needed) for anomalies, delays, or risk signals.
- Reconcile balances daily across wallets, custodians, exchanges, and banking partners — if the numbers don't match, you find out why.
- Manage relationships with stablecoin issuers (Circle, Paxos, and others), banking partners, and fiat on/off-ramp providers.
- Maintain operational playbooks for every recurring flow, and incident playbooks for what can go wrong.
- Oversee compliance workflows: transaction monitoring, screening, sanctions checks, and reporting in line with MiCA and BaFin requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance & Digital Assets on treasury strategy, liquidity planning, and risk controls.
- Continuously improve the stack: evaluate new stablecoins, new rails, new tooling — and make the case for adopting (or rejecting) them.
Must have
- 3+ years of professional experience operating crypto or stablecoin infrastructure — at an exchange, payment provider, custodian, issuer, market maker, or crypto-native treasury team.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of how stablecoins work: issuance mechanics, reserve structures, bridging, and the operational differences between USDC, USDT, DAI, and newer entrants.
- Strong on-chain fluency: you read block explorers the way others read email, and you're comfortable with multi-chain operations.
- Working knowledge of MiCA and the German regulatory landscape (BaFin expectations for crypto service providers and e-money tokens).
- Experience with reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and operational controls in a financial context.
- Excellent written English — your documentation and incident reports need to be clear enough to hand off.
- Based in Germany with the right to work there.
Personal qualities that matter to us
- Operationally meticulous. You check twice, then check again — because with stablecoins, a typo is money.
- Calm under pressure. When a transaction hangs or a partner goes silent, you don't panic, you work the problem.
- Discretion and integrity. You'll have access to high-value wallets and sensitive banking information; we need to trust you completely.
- Long-term mindset: you're looking for a role you can grow into, not a stepping stone.
Nice to have
- Experience with MPC wallets, multi-sig setups, or institutional custody platforms (Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, or similar).
- Familiarity with on-chain analytics and compliance tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Dune, Nansen).
- Background in traditional payment operations, treasury operations, or banking back-office — applied to crypto.
- Prior experience at a stablecoin issuer, major exchange, or a regulated crypto service provider in the EU.
- Comfort scripting simple automations (Python, JavaScript) to streamline reconciliation or monitoring.
- Above-market base salary — approximately 20% above industry benchmarks for this level. No variable compensation; we believe in paying well and predictably.
- Fully remote role, based in Germany, with flexibility on working hours (some overlap with European business hours required).
- A role at the operational core of the company. If it involves money moving, it involves you.
- Direct collaboration with the Head of Finance & Digital Assets and visibility into the full treasury function.
- A long-term, stable role with a company that values loyalty and invests in the people who build it.
Send your CV. We review every application and will follow up with a short set of screening questions. Promising candidates are invited to a full interview where we discuss experience and fit in depth.
