IT Operations & Security Analyst

We are hiring an IT Operations & Security Analyst to support secure day-to-day IT operations, cloud controls, incident response, user access management, and operational resilience activities for a regulated financial technology environment.

This role is ideal for candidates who are stronger on IT operations and security governance than on pure software engineering, but who still have basic scripting and cloud administration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT operations across cloud systems, internal tooling, endpoints, and access controls
• Administer user access, role changes, MFA, and privileged access processes
• Monitor security alerts, system health, and operational events
• Support incident handling, issue tracking, and post-incident follow-up
• Assist with vulnerability management, patching coordination, and security hygiene tasks
• Support backup checks, restore tests, and continuity preparation
• Maintain operational records, evidence, and technical documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Work with cloud, engineering, compliance, risk, and vendors to track remediation items
• Support third-party ICT oversight activities, including service reviews and operational issue follow-up
• Help maintain policies, procedures, and operational runbooks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, or security operations
• Good working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud platform
• Good understanding of enterprise IT, access control, endpoint security, and operational monitoring
• Basic Linux and networking knowledge
• Basic scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred

• Exposure to SOC, SIEM, IAM, vulnerability management, backup/restore, or audit support
• Experience in financial services, payments, or crypto
• Experience supporting regulated control environments
• Chinese language skills are a plus
