We are expanding our UAV engineering capabilities and are looking for a skilled UAV Engineer to join our team. You will work on advanced unmanned aerial systems, contributing to flight control, navigation, and system integration across a range of cutting-edge platforms.
Key Responsibilities· Design, implement, and tune flight control algorithms (PI/PID controllers)
· Develop and optimize state estimation systems (e.g., EKF-based sensor fusion)
· Integrate and customize autopilot stacks (PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight)
· Work with radio communication systems for control and telemetry
· Perform system-level testing, validation, and flight testing
· Collaborate across hardware, embedded, and systems engineering teams
Must-Have Qualifications· Strong understanding of control systems (PI, PID tuning and stability analysis)
· Solid experience with state estimation, particularly Extended Kalman Filters (EKF)
· Hands-on experience with at least one modern autopilot architecture (PX4, ArduPilot, or Betaflight)
· Knowledge of radio communication systems (e.g., RF links, telemetry, protocols)
· Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python
· Good understanding of sensor systems (IMU, GNSS, barometer, magnetometer)
Nice-to-Have· Practical, hands-on experience building or flying drones/UAVs
· Experience with simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, SITL)
· Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time constraints
· Understanding of aerodynamics and flight mechanics
· Experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics frameworks
What We Offer· Work on cutting-edge UAV technologies across multiple domains
· Opportunity to contribute to real-world, high-impact systems
· Flexible working location: Copenhagen or Kaunas
· A highly skilled, engineering-driven team environment
· Competitive compensation based on experience
If you are passionate about UAV systems and want to work at the intersection of control theory, robotics, and real-world flight systems, we would like to hear from you.
