Senior Project Manager

A prominent EU-based public financial institution with an international mandate seeks a Senior Project Manager to support the strategic transformation of payment processes related to administrative expenses and revenues.

What you will be doing:

• Design and implement a new Target Operating Model (TOM) for non-EU payment processes that aligns with institutional standards.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and propose robust solutions with key stakeholders
• Lead change management activities to ensure business readiness. These include:
• Stakeholder engagement and communication plans
• Impact assessments and training coordination
• Updates to operational procedures and controls
• Preparation and delivery of process/system trainings
• Coordinate go‑live activities and serve as the point of contact for post‑implementation issues

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters to do the following:
• Manage dependencies and risks across teams
• Maintain a forward‑looking delivery pipeline
• Ensure timely decisions, sign‑offs, and backlog refinement

• Support transition activities from a legacy external banking provider to a new one
• Help identify business risk areas and control gaps throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide clear, transparent progress reporting to senior stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• 8+ years’ experience in process design, change management, and digital transformation
• Proven experience delivering Target Operating Models for payment processes
• Track record in large‑scale, multi‑entity transformation projects
• Accounts Payable (AP) process knowledge
• Project management experience (Agile certification is a plus)
• Strong expertise in change management & stakeholder engagement
• Understanding of operational risk and control frameworks
• Ability to influence across complex environments without formal authority
• Experience within EU institutions, international public sector, or development finance environments
