ALT2026-0269 - Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a key client based in Luxembourg.

Main tasks

Target Operating Model Design & Change Management:

• Design and develop a new Target Operating Model (TOM) for external office payments, aligning with existing standard business processes.
• Identify and analyze gaps and propose solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
• In collaboration with the business team, develop and deliver a change management and communication plan for all impacted stakeholders in line with the new TOM.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and readiness for new processes, functionalities, and systems.
• Update existing operational procedures and controls and develop new ones where required.
• Coordinate go-live activities and act as the point of contact for post-implementation incident management related to the project.

Business Project Delivery

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters to keep delivery on track.
• Ensure alignment across teams on priorities and business outcomes.
• Maintain a forward-looking delivery pipeline with Product Owners and stakeholders, ensuring early identification of risks, dependencies, and priorities.
• Ensure timely sprint inputs and sign-offs.
• Ensure requirements are documented, validated, and refined through backlog grooming with all relevant parties.
• Support transition activities from the current external banking service provider to the new provider ahead of implementation.
• Support Product Owners in identifying risks and control gaps.
• Monitor progress and provide clear status updates to Product Owners and business management, highlighting issues and proposed solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field

Minimum experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• 8+ years in design of new processes, change management and digital solutions

Specific requirements

Proven experience in:

• Development of Target Operating Model for payment processes
• Delivering multi-entity technology and process transformation projects in complex environments
• Developing and implementing change management and stakeholder management strategies.

Nice to have:

• Accounts Payable (AP) with an understanding of AP-related processes and business impacts
• Project management and support a recognized project management certification (ideally in Agile)
