AI Engineer

In Your Job:

• You will independently develop and implement AI projects for the AI Center of Excellence and Innovation Lab, ensuring your work style prevents blockers for the team.
• You will optimize workflows through automation, build integrations for existing systems, and clearly communicate work progress so the team can coordinate effectively.
• You will drive the implementation of modern AI technologies, making informed decisions for RAG, argenic and prompt-architectures using tools like LangChain/LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, and pgvector to balance cost, performance, and maintainability.
• You will introduce and leverage advanced development tools and frameworks such as Next.js, tRPC, Cursor.com, and PostgreSQL to establish a solid foundation for production-ready AI applications.
• You will collaborate with your team to adopt LLM best practices, such as context window management, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering, to maximize application performance and minimize costs.

For a "perfect match," you need:

• Solid experience with TypeScript, and modern frameworks like Next.js, Tailwind, and tRPC.
• Comprehensive knowledge of LLM models (e.g., GPT, Claude), vector databases (e.g., Pinecone), and tools supporting rapid AI development (e.g., Cursor, v0, bolt, windsurf).
• Proficiency in applying LLM best practices, including managing context windows, fine-tuning, prompt engineering and managing context windows.
• A self-responsible work style and strong communication skills to ensure smooth team collaboration and prevent roadblocks.
• A deep understanding of modern AI technologies (RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, pgvector) and the ability to make informed decisions impacting cost, performance, and scalability.
