Data Analyst

We’re supporting an organisation on a mission‑led programme to strengthen its data foundations ahead of a critical business period later this year. The data team is growing, but today the business is still heavily reliant on ad‑hoc, Excel‑driven analysis — and that’s where you come in.

This is a hands‑on interim role focused on bringing clarity, consistency, and trust to data models, definitions, and reporting.

What you’ll be working on

• Reviewing and improving existing data models and definitions
• Supporting ad‑hoc insight requests while building scalable foundations
• Cleaning, validating, and connecting data from multiple sources
• Building Power BI dashboards that stakeholders actually use
• Partnering closely with a Data Engineer to improve documentation and data flows
• Helping the business move away from “multiple versions of the truth”

The context

• Small but growing central data team
• Strong appetite for change, but limited foundations today
• Clear deadline to have a solid data model in place before the next operating cycle

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst (interim or contract experience welcomed)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and Python
• Confidence working in ambiguous environments and taking ownership
• Comfortable balancing short‑term requests with longer‑term improvements

Contract details

• Initial 3‑month contract (likely extension)
• Start ASAP / mid‑May latest
• Ideally 4 days per week
• Amsterdam
• Rate: 70-90/EUR an hour
• Hybrid preference (some on‑site collaboration), but remote flexibility for the right profile
