The position

As a Kotlin Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You will help build a cutting-edge retail media platform used by multiple brands across Europe. You will work in a high-traffic, scalable SaaS environment, contributing to a comprehensive suite that powers modern retail advertising solutions.

• Join an agile team and take ownership of specific product areas within the platform
• Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java/Kotlin and microservices architecture
• Build and improve features with a multi-brand, multi-tenant SaaS mindset
• Collaborate closely with product owners and team members to explore new ideas and technologies
• Address the complexities of developing scalable solutions for multiple retailers
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing, including end-to-end tests
• Contribute to the broader platform beyond your immediate scope

What to bring to the position

• Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience building and maintaining scalable backend systems (SaaS environments)
• Knowledge of automated testing, especially end-to-end testing
• Ability to monitor, maintain, and improve live systems
