Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of Azure landing zones, from architecture and build to operational excellence, ensuring secure, scalable, and well-governed cloud environments for enterprise clients.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Azure landing zones using Infrastructure as Code, aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Hub-and-Spoke network topology;
• Own and resolve complex platform challenges, particularly in Azure networking, security, identity, and governance;
• Manage and optimise mission-critical Azure environments with a focus on reliability, performance, and cost efficiency;
• Automate cloud deployments and operations using Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitOps workflows;
• Review, improve, and standardise infrastructure code, pipelines, and operational practices;
• Work closely with customer-dedicated teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored Azure platform solutions.

What you are like

• Highly experienced in Microsoft Azure within enterprise environments and complex cloud landscapes;
• Advanced in Azure networking, including VNETs, NSGs, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute, Private Link, and hybrid connectivity;
• Expert in identity and access management, with strong knowledge of Entra ID, RBAC, and secure identity architectures;
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep, with solid Git and GitOps practices;
• Comfortable troubleshooting high-impact production issues and optimising cloud platforms under pressure;
• Skilled in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash;
• Clear and effective communicator, with English proficiency at B2 level or above.
