PHP-WordPress Developer

We are looking for an experienced PHP-WordPress Developer to lead a full upgrade of our platform from PHP 8.2 to PHP 8.3, along with a complete update of the WordPress ecosystem. If you enjoy solving compatibility challenges, optimizing performance, and securing modern web environments, this role is for you.

🔧 What You’ll Work On:

• Assessing WordPress core, plugins, and themes for PHP 8.3 compatibility;
• Analyzing custom themes and identifying potential incompatibilities;
• Reviewing logs and detecting deprecated or obsolete functions;
• Upgrading PHP from 8.2 → 8.3 and validating required extensions;
• Updating WordPress core, plugins, and theme to the latest stable versions;
• Running regression, functional, and performance tests;
• Fixing warnings, errors, and compatibility issues;
• Ensuring a secure production deployment;
• Reviewing WordPress hardening settings and server security headers.

🧩 What You Bring:

• Strong experience with PHP-WordPress development;
• Solid understanding of plugin/theme architecture and debugging;
• Ability to troubleshoot compatibility issues efficiently;
• Familiarity with server configuration and PHP extensions;
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices;
• French language (B1–B2 level).
