We are looking for an HR Generalist who wants to provide hands‑on, operational HR support to local business teams while partnering closely with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence. The role is critical to ensuring consistent delivery of HR processes, strong employee experience, and compliance with local labor regulations, while enabling the Romania HR team to scale effectively.


What will I be doing?


Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Support end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract changes, internal mobility, and offboarding.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries in Brașov.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of employment changes in HR systems (iTalent, payroll interfaces, etc.).

Employee Relations & Case Management

  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance on employee relations matters, escalating complex cases to the Head of HR/ HRBP.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management actions in line with local legislation and company policy.
  • Partner with legal and payroll responsible to ensure full compliance with Romanian employment law.

HR Operations & Data Accuracy

  • Own local HR data accuracy, including employee mapping, contract tracking, position management, and reporting.
  • Support audits and internal reviews related to HR compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and documentation.

Talent & Development Support

  • Support local learning and development initiatives in coordination with the L&D and Employee Experience team.
  • Assist with performance review cycles, goal‑setting, calibration logistics, and employee communications.
  • Provide operational support for engagement surveys, action planning, and follow‑up activities.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work closely with HRBPs, L&D, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Global HR teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local leaders to ensure responsive and high‑quality HR support.
  • Act as a connector role, ensuring local execution aligns with global HR frameworks.

Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Provide local HR support across the recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs.
  • Partner with TA to support hiring managers with requisition preparation, role clarification, and alignment on job scope prior to recruitment approval.
  • Support interview logistics, candidate scheduling, and local stakeholder communication.
  • Act as the local HR point of contact during the hiring process, ensuring a smooth candidate and manager experience.
  • Support offers preparation and onboarding coordination in collaboration with TA, Payroll, and HR Operations.
  • Ensure hiring activity complies with local labor laws, internal approval processes, and recruitment freezes / business‑case requirements where applicable.
  • Contribute local market insights (talent availability, competitiveness, timing) to inform workforce planning and recruitment decisions.


What do I need to bring with me?

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Romanian labor law.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (iTalent or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and confidentiality.
