Senior Game Producer

The position:

The Engine team on theHunter innovate, improve, optimize and support the core technology of the world’s most successful hunting simulator. In this role, you will be driving the development processes and coordinate the resources of the Engine team, and you are ultimately accountable for successful completion of milestones and deliveries in alignment with the product vision. You will collaborate with the team PO and Leads to build and maintain a strong team spirit and a highly collaborative, productive environment.

Location: Stockholm office 3 days/week

What you’ll do:

  • Take responsibility for the team’s deliverables, ensuring predictable project outcomes
  • Drive the development process; managing timelines, resources, scope, and quality
  • Act as a point of contact for the project and manage the collaboration with other development teams and stakeholders, coordinating efforts
  • Actively assess and manage risks, issues and dependencies that could impact team execution, mitigating or elevating them in a timely manner
  • Provide regular status reporting on progress and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Director, Technical Art Director and Engine PO to prioritize and plan the team’s work effectively
  • Take charge of building an effective team, ensuring the right competencies are in place to achieve the team's goals, deal with conflicts, and provide feedback
  • Be the manager of the Engine team Producers, direct their work and manage their career development
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a creative, collaborative, and inclusive culture
  • Champion company and theHunter’s guidelines and processes within the team

Who you are:

  • A seasoned Technical Project Manager in the tech or gaming industry
  • Skilled in risk and operational management, with a keen eye for identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Experience in leading and motivating agile development teams where coaching and mentoring towards success are part of your leadership style
  • Extensive knowledge in Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Experience with working and coordinating with external departments
  • Experience managing remote and distributed teams
  • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate goals, give and receive feedback and requests in a clear, concise manner to internal teams and external stakeholders
