Frontend Developer

We are hiring for our client, a custom software development company with a presence across the US, UK, Netherlands, Egypt, and the UAE, for a Frontend Developer role.

This is a fully remote role open worldwide. We are looking for a strong JavaScript engineer with solid experience in Angular and Node.js, who can work effectively in a distributed team.

The Role

You will build and maintain modern, scalable web applications, contributing to both the frontend (Angular) and the backend (Node.js), with a focus on performance, clean architecture, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable applications using Angular (v12+) and TypeScript
• Develop and integrate APIs and services using Node.js
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality interfaces
• Optimise performance across frontend and backend layers
• Write unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals (closures, async patterns, event loop, performance)
• Solid experience with Angular, RxJS, reactive forms, and modular architecture
• Hands-on experience with Node.js
• Strong TypeScript skills
• Experience with modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design)
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• State management (NgRx, Akita)
• Angular Universal or micro-frontend architecture
• Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Open-source contributions or active GitHub
• Previous remote work experience

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $2,500 – $4,000 per month, depending on experience
