The role requires strong technical skills in Infrastructure as Code, firewall automation, and scripting to support scalable, compliant firewall management. The candidate should be able to standardize legacy and cloud firewall configurations, integrate with ITSM platforms, and build CI/CD pipelines with embedded compliance checks. Experience in VPN analysis and Zero Trust migration planning is also essential

API Integration

Build Ansible-based automation where API integration is not natively supported (e.g., NAT rule changes)

Review and optimize policies; support benchmark creation and periodic assessments

VPN Analysis

Analyse client and site-to-site VPNs; identify and segregate non-system-to-system traffic

Cloud Firewall Migration

Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall, Palo Alto/Fortinet

Extract native configs and convert to group standard schema for target appliances

CI/CD Automation

Build secure pipelines to automate deployment, validation, and rollback of firewall configurations
