Senior 2D Game Artist – Mobile Strategy Game

We are looking for a Senior 2D Game Artist to join our team and help build a competitive mobile strategy game from scratch.

This role is ideal for an artist with strong experience in mobile game production, stylized environments, characters, buildings, icons, UI assets, effects, and promotional art.

You will work closely with the game design and development teams to create a visually engaging world that supports gameplay clarity, retention, and long-term live content updates.

• Create high-quality 2D game assets for a mobile strategy game
• Design characters, heroes, enemies, buildings, environments, props, and world elements
• Produce icons, resources, skill effects, UI elements, buttons, and in-game illustrations
• Create visual assets for maps, level environments, and progression systems
• Design event, seasonal, and live-ops visual content
• Ensure visual consistency across gameplay, UI, and promotional materials
• Collaborate closely with game designers and Unity developers for asset implementation
• Optimize assets for mobile performance and readability
• Support marketing and store assets when required
• Maintain art style guides and production pipelines

• 4+ years of experience in 2D game art
• Strong portfolio of mobile game artwork
• Strong experience in:
• character design
• environment design
• building / structure design
• game icons and UI assets
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual hierarchy
• Experience creating assets optimized for mobile games
• Ability to work closely with designers and developers
• Strong understanding of game production workflows

• Experience working on strategy / simulation mobile games
• Experience creating assets for live-service games
• Familiarity with Unity asset pipelines
• Experience with VFX / 2D effects
• Experience with animation-ready layered assets
