About your future role

The Market Insights team has the objective of monitoring Nexi Group's strategic competitive market position with the intention of finding relevant market trends and guiding the business to make strategic commercial decision aimed at retaining/gaining market share. The team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

For the assigned region the candidate will be in charge of owning the monitoring of the Market Share Insights:

1. Monthly presentation of Market Insights highlighting the main trends occurrend in the past month

2. Identifying the the main winners/losers amongs competitors and how they gained/losed market share

3. Support line manager in the monthly presentation to senior management of the main highlights

Be the champion for new insights. Constantly searching for new insights that can add value to the analysis:

1. Mapping of internal data to assess avalability of insightful information

2. Map and assess availability of external partners that can share valuable information for the analysis

3. Deliver integration of information into the current framework

4. Be the point of contact with Data Science team to convey ideas and business requests

Stakeholder Management:

1. Be the main point of contact with local senior stakeholders to adress bottom up requests

2. Manage relationship with international external data providers

3. Scout for external data providers that can add insightful information to the market insigths team. Manage the relationship.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

At least 5 years of previous relevant experience in a multinational company

Previuos experience in the payments industry is considered a plus

Ability to convey the key business messages to senior management across different geographies

Be capable of steering the business commercial decisions based on data insights

Expert user of Power BI. SQL experience is considered a plus

Fluent in English and Italian. Any other language is a plus
