Join our team as a Java Developer and contribute to one of two exciting projects transforming the aviation industry.

In the first project, you will work on an advanced fleet management solution that provides a single view of an entire fleet, helping companies easily manage day-to-day flight operations. This project ensures cross-functional alignment and reduces human error through intuitive design and advanced functionalities.

Alternatively, you might be part of the second project, which is focused on developing a disruption recovery solution. This system optimizes flight schedules and aircraft operations to create effective recovery scenarios during disruptions, considering financial impact and passenger and crew experience. Additionally, it leverages data tracking to predict and prevent future delays, ensuring smooth operational execution.

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug moderately complex software solutions and implement enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Work on introducing new technologies and innovations to existing software
• Work with cloud computing technologies like AWS and leverage cloud capabilities to introduce enhancements to existing applications
• Assist in the development of software technical documentation
• Implement performance enhancements to existing software applications
• Work on building prototypes and Proof of Concept applications
• Work with Support Teams and customers during incident calls to troubleshoot emergency issues and implement fixes quickly to help customers continue critical operations

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred, or similar experience required
• 3+ years of work experience
• Proficiency with Java programming language and various Java EE technologies
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, web services, JMS, and multithreading
• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with XML/Web Services technologies
• Hands-on experience of relational databases (Oracle, SQL)
• Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Experience with Version Control Systems like Git or SVN
• Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/unit testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Agile Scrum experience
• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
