This is a hands-on, field-focused Network Engineer position where you will play a key role in keeping critical networks running smoothly while supporting real-world deployments across diverse environments.


This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of troubleshooting, installations, and working directly with cutting-edge ISP technologies. You will be trusted to take ownership of network performance, work on impactful deployments, and act as a key escalation point within the team.


Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 support across network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues from tickets, alerts, and customer escalations
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve network outages across fiber and wireless environments
  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, microwave radios, and wireless equipment
  • Carry out field deployments including cabling, testing, and hardware installation across network sites
  • Support and maintain microwave backhaul systems including alignment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, asset tracking, and system records
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery
  • Provide basic end-user support and training where required


Qualifications

  • 5-7 years hand on networking experience
  • Strong troubleshooting experience in ISP or carrier-grade environments
  • Experience with Cisco and/or Ubiquiti networking equipment
  • Hands-on experience with microwave radio systems (Cambium, Ubiquiti airFiber, Siklu or similar)
  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols
  • Experience working with fiber and wireless backhaul infrastructure
  • Ability to work in the field including climbing ladders and working at heights
  • CCNP certification preferred
  • VoIP experience is beneficial
