We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join our team from August 2026.
The Role
As an ICT Teacher at Newton, you will deliver high-quality teaching in line with the British National Curriculum, inspiring students through literature, language, and critical thinking, while supporting their academic progress and personal development within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Role
As an ICT Teacher at Newton, you will deliver high-quality teaching in line with the British National Curriculum, inspiring students through literature, language, and critical thinking, while supporting their academic progress and personal development within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-planned ICT lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and external examinations.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and whole-school initiatives.
- Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development through effective pastoral care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement.
- A Bachelor’s degree in ICT or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, QTS, or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ full-time teaching experience within a British curriculum school is a plus.
- Native English speaker with strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills.
- A student-centred and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
- Ability to adapt confidently to a multicultural and dynamic school environment.
