Senior Backend Developer (.NET / Azure)

We are looking for a Senior Backend .NET Developer; however, we are also open to considering full-stack candidates (.NET + Angular) with a strong backend focus.

About The Project

You will join a leading global insurance corporation in the USA, delivering solutions for PBM companies. The organization operates across multiple domains including Insurance Reimbursements, Adjudication, Financial Operations, Pricing Analytics, Product Availability, and Quality Assurance.

This is a stable, long-term enterprise project with a modern cloud-based architecture and well-established processes.

Team & Process

Methodology: Scrum;

Our team: 4–6 Developers, ~3 DevOps, QA, Delivery Manager;

Client team: 40–50 Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers.

NET (C#), ASP.NET Core (REST APIs);

Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures);

Responsibilities

Maintain and support existing system functionality;
Investigate and fix bugs;
Design and implement new features;
Participate in solution design discussions with architects and DB teams before development;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, BA, PO);
Contribute to the migration from NCPDP standard to P6.

Requirements (Must Have)

Strong experience with .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core;
Solid experience with REST APIs;
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures);
Experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, Cosmos DB, AKS);
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps);
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / Identity Server;
Familiarity with Swagger (OpenAPI);
Experience with Mirth Connect or similar integration tools;
Basic scripting (JavaScript / PowerShell);
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog).

Nice to Have

Experience with Angular;
Experience with VB.NET;
Understanding of modular monolith architecture;
Experience with Repository / Use Case patterns;
Knowledge of Redis or in-memory caching;
Experience with logging & traceability solutions;
Familiarity with NCPDP format;
Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit).
