Role: Frontend Engineer (Angular)

You will be part of a team responsible for transforming a powerful desktop product into a modern, scalable web platform that will become the foundation of the entire ecosystem.

About the Role

This is a high impact frontend engineering role focused on evolving a core product as it transitions from desktop to web. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the platform, building high quality user interfaces and contributing to a product that sits at the centre of the business. You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers, contributing to new features, improving performance and stability, and helping define the frontend architecture as the product scales.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Design and build high quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular, delivering seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Platform Evolution: Contribute to the transition from desktop to web by building scalable and maintainable frontend systems.
• Performance and Architecture: Improve the structure and performance of frontend components, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and clean code practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and high quality product experiences.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in agile ceremonies including stand ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Angular and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Deep understanding of HTML and CSS
• Strong grasp of UI and UX principles and building intuitive interfaces
• Experience working with modern development workflows including Scrum, Kanban, Git, and code reviews
• Proven experience delivering high quality frontend applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React or Stencil
• Experience working on large scale or platform level frontend systems

You must be based in Australia and have full working rights.
