The Opportunity

We’re looking for a DevOps / CI/CD Engineer to support a client program focused on improving source code security, deployment automation, and release efficiency.

The current environment involves:

• Source code currently hosted in GitLab
• A planned migration to a more secure setup in Azure DevOps
• Manual deployments across 12 instances
• Use of TeamCity to create .exe installers for different packages

The key goal of this role is to help design and implement a more efficient, automated deployment

model.

Key Responsibilities

• Support migration of source code and pipelines from GitLab to Azure DevOps
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, consistency, and security
• Automate deployments across multiple application instances
• Review current deployment tooling and recommend the most effective approach
• Work with internal stakeholders to assess options including:
• Azure DevOps
• Jenkins
• Octopus Deploy
• other suitable CI/CD tooling
• Improve release governance, repeatability, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with engineering, DBA, and delivery teams

Skills & Experience (Required)

• Proven experience in DevOps / CI/CD Engineering
• Strong experience with:
• Azure DevOps
• GitLab
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation
• Experience automating application deployments across multiple environments / instances
• Strong understanding of:
• release management
• build and deployment pipelines
• secure source control practices
• Ability to assess and recommend the best-fit tooling for delivery efficiency

Highly Regarded

• Experience with:
• Jenkins
• Octopus Deploy
• TeamCity
• Experience working with Windows-based application packaging / installers
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and solution design capability
