Job Title – Senior Cyber Security Consultant

Job Location – Sydney

Employment Type – Contract

Work Authorization: Applicants must have valid unlimited working rights in Australia. (Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this role)


Overview:

  • We are looking for a Senior Security Consultant/Architect to support security across projects and business solutions, ensuring security is considered from design through to delivery utilizing the IPH SBD process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security guidance for projects and technology solutions.
  • Perform security-by-design (SBD) reviews.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigations.
  • Review solution designs to identify security gaps and weaknesses, support secure architecture and design decisions.
  • Ensure alignment with security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Track and support remediation of identified risks Develop Security Process and Guidelines as required.


Skills & Experience:

  • Good understanding of security principles, architecture, and solution design.
  • Experience reviewing applications, infrastructure, or cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of network security, identity, and data protection concepts.
  • Familiarity with project delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Standards Awareness of: ISO 27001 NICT CIS
