Purpose

To support our fast growth across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), Medline is looking for a visionary and imaginative Concept Designer to join our creative team.

The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker, skilled in translating ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate across multiple channels. As a Concept Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the visual direction of projects across various mediums, from brainstorming initial ideas to delivering and executing polished concepts.

• We are moving from our current HQ Arnhem office (next to train station Arnhem Centraal) to a new office in central Utrecht in the summer of 2025.

How can you help us?

Concept Development

• Develop fresh, innovative concepts for campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
• Collaborate closely with sub-departments within the Marketing team to align concepts with overarching strategies.
• Translate marketing objectives into visual storytelling that engages and resonates with target audiences.
  
  

Creative Execution

• Ideate and execute cutting-edge design solutions that balance brand consistency with creative exploration.
• Conceptualize and manage photography directions, including pre-production planning, on-set art direction, and post-production processes.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables that exceed expectations.
  
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work collaboratively within the marketing team to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all campaigns and projects.
• Partner with external photographers, agencies, and vendors as needed to deliver exceptional results.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the creative process, elevating the team’s overall success.
  
  

Trend Awareness & Innovation

• Stay ahead of design trends, bringing new approaches and techniques to the team to enhance brand visibility.
• Introduce forward-thinking ideas that challenge norms while aligning with brand objectives.
  
  

Project Management

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining budgets.
• Oversee production timelines for concept and photography projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine and perfect creative visions.
  
  

Other tasks not mentioned in here may be assigned based on preferences, skill levels and upcoming projects.

Are you our match?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design, photography or a related field.
• You have 5 years of experience in concept design/overall graphic design
• You can utilize software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, or equivalent)
• You are an expert in photography software (CaptureOne).
• You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create cross-channel campaigns, innovative concepts, and photography projects.
• You have a proven ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
• You possess strong communication and presentation skills to share creative ideas effectively.
• High affinity for visual storytelling and design thinking.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning work.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; an additional European language is a plus
• Confident in dealing with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
