We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join a dynamic, globally operating organization in the logistics and production sector. With over 10 years of experience in executive IT leadership, you will play a critical role in driving the digital transformation and innovation of our client's global operations. This is a high-level freelance opportunity for a seasoned professional with international experience and expertise in SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT strategy across the global logistics and production network.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and align IT with business goals to support strategic growth and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP ERP systems to improve business processes and integrate IT solutions across international operations.
• Provide strategic leadership in managing and evolving the IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security in a complex global environment.
• Work closely with key stakeholders across business units to identify technology needs and business requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing global IT teams across multiple regions.
• Manage the IT budget, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize investments in technology.
• International experience with multiple production sides
• Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, ensuring the organization remains competitive in the logistics and production sectors.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in CIO roles, with a strong focus on logistics and production industries.
• Extensive international experience, managing IT operations and projects across multiple regions.
• Strong strategic leadership and proven ability to influence C-level decision-making.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with SAP ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation and optimizing IT infrastructure for global enterprises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience managing global IT teams, including resource allocation, performance management, and vendor relationships.
• Ability to navigate complex, fast-changing business environments and drive innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with emerging technologies, such as AI, IoT, and blockchain, within logistics and production.
• Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in IT, Business, or related fields.
