About The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in modernizing and enhancing our user-facing platforms, ensuring they are both visually appealing and highly functional. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing applications with client-side JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue 2 and Vue 3.
- Strong understanding of CSS architecture, layout techniques, and responsive design principles.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack and Vite.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team environment.
- Experience with integrating GraphQL APIs for data management.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Vuex or Pinia is a plus.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and Vue Test Utils is desirable.
- Develop and maintain reusable, high-quality Vue.js components and user interfaces that enhance user experience.
- Lead the migration of our existing codebase from Twig and Vue 2 to Vue 3, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
- Help transition our build tooling from Webpack to Vite, streamlining the development process and improving efficiency.
- Integrate with GraphQL APIs to facilitate efficient data fetching and real-time updates.
- Maintain high code quality through testing, adherence to best practices, and clean architecture principles.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an agile environment to deliver high-impact features.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
