AWS DevOps Engineer

Senior AWS DevOps Engineer | Brussels | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite) | Up to €60K

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global technology consultancy specialising in software development, cloud solutions, and IT consulting. Due to a sustained period of growth, they are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to play a key role in designing, automating, and scaling modern cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.

You will join a collaborative, high-performing engineering team where you’ll take ownership of complex DevOps ecosystems, drive automation initiatives, and contribute to architectural decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and automation of infrastructure using Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)

• Architect and optimise CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Manage, scale, and optimise Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem environments)

• Establish and enhance observability practices using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Prometheus/Grafana

• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across environments (IAM, certificate management, vulnerability management)

• Guide engineering teams on multi-cloud strategy and DevOps maturity improvements

• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership and architectural decision-making

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (including modules and workspaces)

• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale

• Advanced Kubernetes knowledge (RBAC, networking, scaling, GitOps practices)

• Proficiency in at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar)

Role Details:

• Up to €60,000 base salary (depending on experience)

• Hybrid working model : 2-3 days onsite in Brussels
