AI Engineer

At Dataminded we believe AI is an engineering discipline, not just a research experiment. We are looking for an AI Engineer who can bridge the gap between a prompt and a production-grade product. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of AI systems, ensuring they are as scalable, secure, and observable as any other mission-critical data product.

Responsibilities

About the role

• Build agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations, owning the process from initial architecture to final deployment.
• Translate business problems into AI solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to determine the best fit between generative AI, traditional ML, or standard engineering.
• Treat AI pipelines with high rigor ensuring they are versioned, observable, idempotent, and built on solid data foundations.
• Prioritize scalability, security, clean code, and testability as core components of every solution.
• Drive quality in production by defining metrics, running evals, and detecting regressions to ensure continuous improvement beyond the launch phase.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with a focus on Python or similar languages.
• Experience with LLM orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases.
• Proven ability to deploy and maintain production-grade data or AI pipelines.
• A product-oriented mindset with an interest in user experience.
