We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join our team.

The project is a managed service for the tools team and focuses on CI/CD landscape Ops and Site Reliability Engineering. The main objective is to provide support for Gerrit/Perforce and ensure the smooth functioning of Google Cloud Platform services. The project requires expertise in various tools and technologies such as GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Interconnect, Google Kubernetes Engine, Splunk, Terraform, and VM.

This role offers a fully remote/hybrid or office mode of work. It is expected to have “on call” days for up to 14 days per month to handle incidents and service degradation.

Responsibilities


  • Provide support for Gerrit/Perforce and other Google Cloud Platform services
  • Be available 24/7 for up to 14 days per month to handle incidents and service degradation
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Interconnect, Google Kubernetes Engine, Splunk, Terraform, and VM
  • Collaborate with the tools team to ensure smooth CI/CD operations
  • Monitor and optimize CI/CD processes to enhance efficiency and reliability


Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, with a primary focus on Gerrit/Perforce support
  • Proficiency in GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Interconnect, and Google Kubernetes Engine
  • Java knowledge for maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging of Application (code is written in Java)
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Terraform, and VM
  • Experience with CI/CD landscape Ops and SRE
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience with containerization and containers orchestration
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and scripting languages
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with DB administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Perforce Helix
  • Experience with Python
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Helm, and monitoring tools
