Network Engineer - Frankfurt

We’re working with a well-established colocation provider based in Frankfurt who are expanding their Network Engineering team. They’re looking for a mid-level Network Engineer with a solid foundation in IP networking to support, deploy, and maintain a large-scale data center network environment.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys operational responsibility and working with production networks that support critical infrastructure.

You’ll be part of the core networking team, responsible for the day-to-day operation, deployment, and support of the company’s network across their data center and colocation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the existing IP & Datacetner network infrastructure
• Deploy and configure new network components as the environment grows
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across production environments
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and changes to network devices
• Participate in on-call or escalation rotations as required
• IP Routing, VxLAN EVPN Focused project work

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong understanding of IP routing
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, and general data center networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with Juniper is highly desirable, but not essential - (Engineers with Cisco, Arista, or other vendor backgrounds are very welcome)
• Experience working in data center, ISP, or colocation environments
