The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background within fintech, electronic trading, FX, treasury systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the support, development and operations of the electronic trading system
2. Design and build trading system components — hands-on and in production
3. Define the technical architecture for the Dublin operation
4. Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team
5. Work closely with global engineering and product leadership on roadmap alignment
6. Serve as a credible, client-facing technical authority at senior stakeholder level

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. 10+ years of software engineering experience in fintech or treasury platforms
2. Strong, production-level C++ and Golang
3. Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams in financial services
4. Solid background in building and managing financial trading systems and infrastructure
5. Hands-on approach — you lead from the front and stay close to the codebase
6. Experience with FIX protocol and financial messaging standards
7. Excellent communication and client-facing skills
