We are currently hiring a DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team building and operating secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within a regulated environment.

This role will focus on Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, CI/CD Automation, Observability, AI-enabled workloads, and infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• 4+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, and GitLab CI/CD

• Experience managing GCP services including VPCs, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery

• Experience operating hardened Kubernetes/GKE environments including RBAC, Network Policies, Private Clusters, and secure deployment strategies

• Experience deploying and managing Python-based Cloud Functions and AI/data-processing workloads

• Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, Audit Logging, Least-Privilege Access, Secret Rotation, Encryption, and Cloud KMS

• Experience building secure CI/CD Pipelines with SAST/DAST, Vulnerability Scanning, SBOM Generation, Artifact Signing, and controlled release workflows

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alloy, Elastic Stack, and Google Cloud Monitoring & Logging

• Experience supporting SLIs/SLOs, Incident Response, Post-Mortems, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore, and High-Availability Strategies.

• Experience securing and optimising BigQuery environments including Dataset IAM, Row-Level Security, Slot Management, and audit-friendly access patterns

• Strong Python scripting and automation experience

• Experience with Cost Optimisation, GKE Autoscaling, Cloud Functions Scaling, and cloud spend reporting

• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other regulated/high-security environments

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams

• Strong Communication, Stakeholder Management, Documentation, and operational process skills
